Tom’s career path started at a young age. At age 21 he had his first heart attack. This set his future fighting the #1 killer-heart disease, a passion to educate the community and corporate sector about this disease and sudden cardiac arrest (SCA).
The Minneapolis Heart Institute is very special to Tom. There, the team of physicians has given him another shot at life. He learned extensive knowledge of the heart and how it relates to his life, everyone’s life. With this info, Tom began his career in medical device sales, including SCA awareness education, AED/CPR training
, AED sales and related services.
Tom gives back to the community. He volunteers in several arenas: Foundation advisory board to combat heart disease, 25+ year member of Big Brothers Big Sister of the Greater Twin Cities, and is an American Heart Association fundraiser where he’s earned “top fundraiser” four years in a row.
With his extensive history and knowledge with heart disease and his commitment to help the community, Tom Lewis is an asset to the community, an asset to Advanced First Aid.
